Robert Moreno is a native Austinite. He has been coaching girls softball for more than five years and works with students throughout Texas as an instructor with PALS .Coach Robert's baseball experience ranges from playing college baseball with St. Edwards University to semi-pro ball for the Atlanta Braves for 4 years. He has coached and played on 1 World Series Champion team (amateur baseball) in 2000.Coach Robert continues to play amateur baseball. This has resulted in his having played a small part in the movie The Rookie. Unfortunately, his scene wound up on the cutting room floor but can still be seen on the DVD under deleted scenes.
